The ITE Transportation Safety Council Organization Award is given to an organization that has provided exemplary support for traffic safety through financial support, public relations, or other means. The Drive Smart program was nominated by Kyle Schneweis of NDOR. In addition to the nomination, members prepared an information packet about the Drive Smart program. Matt McLaughlin is due a special “thank you” for spearheading the application effort. The award recipient will be announced May 1, 2017 and a plaque will be presented at the ITE Annual Meeting and Exhibit.
