Thursday, September 28th we will be holding a student meet and greet at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. The event will include the student meet and greet, lunch with a technical presentation by Dr. Huynh, and a tour of the new Kiewit Hall Engineering Building. Opening for classes in the spring 2024, Kiewit Hall will be one of the nation’s premier facilities to provide students with a world-class engineering education and enable us to meet the workforce needs of the state and the region. - 9:00 – 10:00 Student Meet and Greet Set Up (Whittier Room 152)
- 10:00 – 11:30 Student Meet and Greet (Whittier Room 152)
- 11:30 – 1:00 Lunch and Technical Presentation by Dr. Huynh (Whittier Room 152)
- 1:00 – 2:00 Tour of the New Kiewit Hall Engineering Building
If your company or agency is interested in having a table for the meet and greet. A sponsorship will cost $100 and all proceeds will go to the Patrick T. McCoy Fund for Engineering Excellence.
Logistics:
- Attire: Long pants, shirts and leather shoes must be worn at a minimum (work boots are preferred). No shorts, skirts, tank tops, flip flops or sneakers allowed.
- Kiewit will be providing PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility shirt or vest, and gloves.
- Parking in A and C lots (highlighted in green below) will be included with the registration price.
