LOCATE, in conjunction with the Student ITE Chapter, will host a Meet and Greet event prior to the general meeting. Students are invited to meet with professionals from companies and agencies around the Lincoln, Omaha, and Council Bluffs area. The Meet and Greet will be held in room 158 of the Peter Kiewit Institute from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM. This event is free for all students wanting to attend. The February LOCATE General Meeting and lunch will be held from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM after the Meet & Greet. Students are encouraged to join the professionals for the February meeting and a free lunch.
The general meeting will also be held in Room 158 of the Peter Kiewit Institute. Bryan Guy, from the City of Omaha, will be giving an update on the City of Omaha’s Traffic Signal System Master Plan. A Qdoba hot bar will be served. Lunch is free for students and $10 for professionals. Please use the PayPal button at the bottom of this page if you wish to pre-pay for lunch.
Important: UNO no longer provides temporary parking permits for the faculty surface lot. Please park in the parking garage across 67th Street or an available visitor lot. The fee to park in the garage is $1/hr up to $4 daily. The Park Omaha App may be used to pay or at a kiosk in the garage. You will need to know your license plate number.
